The licensing scheme of mst Defrag is not complicated. Available in three different editions, Home, Professional and Server Edition, mst Defrag matches even special costumer needs. You can find further information on the respective product pages.

mst software offers discounts for schools and students as well as governmental institutions. Please contact us to learn about the licensing conditions and to place your order.

Updates

Every update where the main version number does not change, e.g. from mst Defrag V1.8 Home Edition to mst Defrag V1.9 Home Edition, so called minor updates, are available free of charge for registered users.
The licensing fee for major updates, e.g. from mst Defrag V1.8 Workstation Edition to mst Defrag V2 Workstation Edition, usually amounts to 50%-65% of the price of the full version.

Grace period

Costumers who have bought their licenses during a 90 day period prior to the release date of a major update may receive the update free of charge.
